Thickenning Agent For Adhesive

A pure adhesive sometimes have bad gluing strength so that need a kind of substance that can build a tie agent on the adhesive substance. This substance have different effect for every substance proposed, like fiber glass can give a tie strength to the adhesive material. Fiber glass can create a cross linking tie between adhesive material and make the adhesive don't easily to break down. Many material can add into adhesive and they can have different purposed, this kind of material called as adhesive filler. Some material for filler can have different purposed not just add to repair the adhesive properties but sometimes to make the adhesive price down.

Other substance that added into pure adhesive are thickening agent. Thickening agent have function to make the adhesive more viscose, so can easily to stick the material and make the adhesive dry faster. Thickening agent that common use in adhesive is dextrins, but other substance like boric acid, polyvinyl alcohol, methyl cellulose and polyethylene glycol also use as thickening agent for certain adhesive.
