People use wood adhesive may vary because the availability in the market, but for furniture production they are not use freely because not all kind adhesive is suitable for wood. Gluing of wood to wood people use Urea Formaldehyde adhesive but for wood to metal adhesive people use epoxy resin because this resin is better than formaldehyde adhesive and have clearly curing temperature of about 40 oC and this temperature is not enough for diethyl-aminopropylamine.
For gluing many kind of metal and probably all common metal can be glued use bisphenol A epoxy resins, some will be better than other metal. For structural metal like aluminum and steel are easy to bond, copper and lead are not so easy to bond. The strength of copper to bond is about a half of aluminum bond.
In aircraft manufacture the bonding to metal is the most spectacular use over made of an adhesive and still a source of some wonder. The constant strength of bonding after get temperature between -50oC and more than 100oC in few minutes is need for adhesives properties. For wood glue product can see on the link.
Wood adhesive, rubber adhesive, plastic adhesive, remove adhesive, steel adhesive, traditional adhesive, thermosetting resin, water base adhesive, inorganic base adhesive, many glues.
